Octave is an open source program very similar to Matlab. In many cases, Matlab scripts can be directly run by Octave and Octave scripts can be run by Matlab. The primary benefit to Octave is, it is completely FREE.

The toolbox:
A collection of functions to make the life of a microwave engineer/student easier and the primary reason this website was created.

    Some information on getting started. If you're interested in the toolbox but have no clue what Octave is, this is the place to start.

    Toolbox Examples:
    I try to show how the toolbox can be used to solve practical problems. If you are like me, you probably don't want to read any of my how-to's or relentless blabbing. If this is you, no worries, each function file includes a help section. The proper syntax of each function can be found in its help section.

    I personally use the toolbox and find it helpful. If you like it, hate it, have suggestions, or are just lonely, let me know.
